I would say the sooner the better to avoid any rush and also to ensure my availability. I would like to have sufficient time to produce something exceptional for your special day. You would need to give me basic details like the look and feel of your wedding, if you have a theme and also the color scheme you are working with. We would also need to know the quantity you need for each item and also the information you would like to include.
We would ideally prefer to meet with you 4 – 6 months before your wedding.

CAN I DIY MY INVITATIONS OR SUPPLY MY OWN MATERIALS?
Unfortunately I do not offer a DIY option, every invitation comes completely assembled and ready for delivery.
I also do not allow out-sourced supplies such as paper and embellishments.
HOW MANY INVITATIONS SHOULD I ORDER?
You should always ensure you have an exact count of your guests and how many invitations you want to give out. I would suggest at least 10-12 extra but always try and be as accurate as you can.
Don’t forget to count yourself in as you also need a keepsake.
WILL I SEE THE DESIGN BEFORE IT GOES TO PRINT AND CAN I GET A SAMPLE?
Yes of course you are involved throughout the design process and I provide you with detailed JPEG/PDF proofs during the designing process. We do not send anything to print unless we have your final approval. If you would like to have an actual sample made up before the final print there will be an additional cost of R150 per sample.
I DON’T LIVE IN DURBAN?
That is no problem at all! Most of our business is done via the internet, and has worked quiet well. The proofs etc will be sent to you via email. If you feel the need to “meet” we can always video call (Skype/Facetime)
WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT POLICIES?
We require a 50% non-refundable deposit before we can start work on any project, however I may request full payment for certain orders.
You can make the paymet via EFT.
The balance would is due before any physical items can be delivered.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I’M NOT SATISFIED?
At the beginning of the design process I do a consultation with you. This is where we will discuss and brainstorm your ideas, design, vision and details for your upcoming wedding. We will also discuss colour palettes, paper and embellishments. The more details you can give me the better it will be so please feel free to bring along any inspiration photos or pinterest boards, so that I can get a clear picture of what you are looking for. Once your quotation a 50% non-refundable deposit is required for the design process to begin. If at any point we feel we are not creating the design or capturing the look and feel you desire after the first 3 drafts then we can meet again at no additional cost and find out where I am going wrong and do my best to capture your vision. I will always aim to give you the best and will strive to meet your needs. I am confident that my designs and quality will not only match but also exceed all your expectations. But if there is something that you are not completely satisfied with, please contact me immediately and I will make it my top priority to remedy the situation.
CAN I RETURN, CANCEL OR GET A REFUND AFTER PLACING MY ORDER?
You can cancel at anytime but please note the 50% deposit is non refundable as by this stage a lot of my time and effort
has already been put into this project.

Yes we can!! The consultation will happen once you have looked at my designs and pricing and you have decided that we would be the perfect fit for your special day. I am based in Durban North as we can arrange to meet somewhere that is convenient for both of us or we can chat on Facetime/Skype with no charge.

CUSTOM WEDDING INVITATIONS & STATIONERY
I would need 4-6 months prior to your wedding to get the concept, design and final product ready for you. Once you officially place your order with me (signed the contract and the 50% deposit has been paid) we will begin. We need about 4 weeks to finalize the design and then at least 2 weeks for printing and assembling. If you only need ‘on the day’ stationery like menus, name cards or programs, then I need to get started at least 2 months before the wedding. Design time does vary depending on how many rounds of revisions/edits are needed and how promptly I receive a response from you (typically this process can range from 1-3 weeks, so the more the more decisive you are, the faster the train will go).

HOW DO I GET STARTED?
Please read through my ts and cs as I would like to make sure that you are comfortable with my design and work process before we get started. Please fill out a project questionnaire & I will respond with project approval and quote within 48 hours except on weekends.
DO YOU ACCEPT ALL TYPES OF PROJECTS/CLIENTS?
For me to offer the best service possible according to my capabilities, no, I do not accept all projects. Once I have gone through all of the information sent and revised your requirements, I will determine whether the project is a good fit for my design style and my project queue. If I feel the project isn't a good fit for me, I will inform you via email.
HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK?
My preferred mode of payment is EFT Once you have received your estimated quotation with a base price for your order, and you have accepted it, a 50% non refundable deposit will have to be paid for design work; however, I may request full payment for certain orders. Note that this base price only includes the basic design elements of the services I offer; add-ons, as well as additional work required for your website/project will be charged accordingly and billed to you prior to the completion of your design project.
IS IT FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE?
Once decided that your design project is a good fit & after you have made the initial deposit based on your project quotation. I will inform you and your project will go into my queue, If you have a specific deadline for your project, please let me know (as soon as possible) and I will be glad to prioritize your requirement for an additional fee + cost of the design project. Note that a rush order may not be possible in some cases, like when my project queue is full, but you will be informed at the beginning.
DO YOU HAVE A PREFERRED PLATFORM FOR WEBSITES/BLOGS?
Yes. For websites and e-commerce, I currently work on Wix as it allows me to have completed creative control for the web design & layout without worrying about the background coding/programming. I do not use their templates and design from scratch ensuring that your website is as unique as you and your business are. You will have complete control over your files, content, and graphics. There will be an additional hosting fee that you would need to pay them and this cost cab vary depending on the package chosen.
DO YOU OFFER HOSTING?
Yes we do offer hosting and technical support for websites &emails. You can purchase a domain name and hosting account from us.
WHAT ARE YOUR WORK HOURS?
My work hours are typically Monday – Friday, I will not reply to emails during the weekend (Friday night – Sunday) If you have a pressing concern, you may email me and I will respond to your email on the following business day.
CAN WE MEET?
I prefer to communicate via email, as it helps me get everything organized, and I get to keep a record of all communications. But yes we can also meet.
